Pet Hospital Care
Palmwoods Veterinary Clinic has separate cat and dog wards to reduce your pet’s stress and provide a comfortable environment while they are in our care. These wards are air conditioned and have individually heated cages with comfy bedding. A vet and a well-trained hospital nurse will be monitoring and treating your pet throughout their treatment. Intravenous fluids are routinely administered via infusion pumps, allowing us to supply your pet’s fluid requirements accurately.

Dedicated Recovery & Intensive Care
Blood pressure is also monitored when necessary. Our intensive care unit for small pets, puppies, kittens and wildlife has an oxygen and climate controlled chamber to assist your pet’s recovery. We have a specific pain management protocol to keep any discomfort to an absolute minimum. Pets receive pain relief after surgery as well, keeping their pain and recovery time to a minimum.
